Locating eyelets for racks and fenders

Fender and rack eyelets are located with respect to the front and rear axles. BikeCAD requires a radial distance between the center of the axle and the center of the eyelet. It also requires an angular measurement. In the rear, the angular measurement is taken from the centerline of the seat stay. In the front, the angular measurement is taken from the centerline of the steerer tube. This is illustrated above. The scheme for locating braze-ons for mounting a rack to the seat stays is shown below.
