Tax day Tax day,…yeah, yeah, yeah!

Today is all about getting my life back on track and organized.  Aside from working on taxes today, I booked some courses that I’ll be completing over the next couple months; this is all for the purpose of maintain my required minimum of 75hours of continuing education/3 year period for my chiropractic license.  The 3 year deadline in June is fast approaching, so I best get on this quickly.

Another thing that I’ve been busy doing lately is seeing a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.  I’ve been seeing Dr. Jason Ahlan who works at Paradigm Health in south Calgary.  He has helped me so much in so many ways, I don’t even know where to start.  He is a large part of why I’ve been feeling invincible with my training lately.

Allison called me while on her emerg shift at Chilliwack general hospital.  She told me that during the night before there was a riot at one of the prisons in the area.  11 inmates broke into the nurse’s aid station and stole a heap-load of methadone,…they all overdosed and were taken to the emerg room.   Imagine an emerg department with 11 shackled inmates with 27 prison guards overlooking them.  Craziness.

Swam in AM,…now getting taxes and miscellaneous things done (including updating my website),

I had a great time in the pool today with the Dinos.  It was just Jarrod and I doing this workout, of 8200m.  I’m noticing big changes in my swimming.  I’m able to handle way more than I’ve ever been able in the past – things are clicking.  Energy was perfect throughout.

No rest between sets.

2×600 on 8:00 (I did the first as a 550m)

6x200m on 2:45

2×600 pull on 8:00

24x50m pull on :40

8x50m band only on :45

4x50m swim on :40

8x50m band only on :45

2x600m swim on 8:00 (again I only did a 550m for the first one)

6x200m on 2:45

10x100m pull on 1:20
