Are you an awesome athlete/cyclist/triathlete, and back it up with being an even more awesome person? Did you have an awesome 2011, and hope for an even more awesome 2012? Do you have and awesome brain, that processes and expresses thoughts in factors of awesomeness? Do you have an awesome bike set up, and want to bike in an environment that gives you suggestions on how to make that bike set up possibly even more awesome? Do you want to part of a cycling class that have the most awesome workouts in Calgary? (If any other club, group, or team wants to challenge our awesomeness to an early season 40km TT, we will most awesomely oblige!) If you’re looking for awesomeness,…search no more, and come to our awesome Thursday night spin class at SpeedTheory:

Ironspins will be starting up Thursday Jan 5th at Speed Theory (735A 10 Ave SW). The classes start at 6:30 PM, but most people show up just after 6 PM to start setting up your bikes. The class will run approximately 2 hrs in length, with a brief core/stretching session at the end. The class will run every Thursday until March 29th (13 classes) and the cost will be $175 per person.

For insurance reasons, we ask that all participants get a Alberta Triathlon Association membership:
The cost of the membership is $40. There are many benefits of being a member and if you are planning on doing a triathlon in Alberta or BC this summer, you would need the membership anyways.

Please don’t forget to bring:
-your bike
-your bike trainer
-a towel or mat to place under your bike in order to keep the floor clean
-a change of clothes
-water bottle. fluids, nutrition, etc.

In case you forget anything or would like to purchase something, we can ring in through for you.

We are very lucky that the management at Speed Theory allow us to use their shop to hold the class. In return, they ask that you keep in mind that it is a place of business. In order to have enough space to hold class members, we will have to move some of the display bikes. The staff at Speed Theory ask that this task be left to Kyle and myself as they want to make sure that new bikes remain scratch free.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
