today’s workout

February 16th, 2009

Had a doosey of a day yesterday,…loads of work chalked up.  Today I capped off yesterday’s effort with a swim/long run.

40x100m swim (alternate 10free/10back, pull,..on ascending pace time 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45)

Longish run/TEST-set on the treadmill:

start at 1% incline, 6mile/hour, increasing .25mile/hour every 10min, until upper limit of zone2 is reached.

finishing time was 1hr50min, associated with 8.5mile/hour or 7:03min/mile pace (150bpm),…cooldown to 2hours.
