Olympic success

March 23rd, 2010

Things have been good on my end – I’m training steady and regularly. I’m keeping my health a priority, while building my training load steadily and wisely, along with emphasis of building my core strength/proper recruitment patterns.

I received an email from a long track speedskater whom I was working with intimately and daily in his preparation for his Olympic races. With his permission, I’m posting what he said…as my involvement in this capacity ranks high up as one of my proudest experiences:

“I just wanted to say thanks again for all the help you have done for us in Calgary, Salt Lake, and Vancouver. It was really nice to have someone who was as enthusiastic as you were about preparing for races. You were key in helping my back feel better. All of the graston, dry needling and ART have made that extra difference to get me to the Olympics and a silver medal. You went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. It was great to have you there not only as a chiropractor and doctor but also for all the mental training you have done and hospitality you gave us. Without you my Olympic experience would not have been the same. Your work has truly helped bring us to the next level.”
